Terms of Use

These are the terms for booking and using CLUTCHROOM PC CLUB — the station and group-room time we sell, and the house rules that keep the floor fair for everyone on it. Book a seat or walk in and you're agreeing to what's below.

What we provide

CLUTCHROOM sells time on PC gaming stations — by the hour, by the four-hour block, or by the room. The Floor is open seating; the Team Rooms are private five-seat spaces booked as a unit; the Duel is two facing stations for co-op and two-player games. Every seat runs the same fast build. We provide the machine, the seat, and the room around it — not the game accounts, the ranks, or the results.

Bookings and holds

Book by sending the booking form or by emailing [email protected] with a date, a room, and a block. A booking isn't confirmed until we reply to hold it. Walk-ins are welcome whenever seats are free, but only a confirmed booking guarantees a station is waiting. If we can't hold the exact room or block you asked for, we'll offer the nearest option before anything is locked in.

Rates and payment

Current rates are shown on the home page — hourly seats, four-hour blocks, and per-room group-room time. Payment is taken at the desk when you arrive or when you leave, as arranged. Rates can change; the price that applies is the one confirmed for your booking or displayed at the desk on the day. Overnight blocks run by arrangement at the desk.

Using the stations

Treat the gear as if the next player is watching. Log out of your own accounts before you leave — we clear sessions where we can, but your login is your responsibility. Don't install software that isn't ours, don't tamper with the hardware or the network, and don't try to bypass any controls on the machines. If a station misbehaves, tell the desk and we'll move you or fix it; don't try to service it yourself.

House rules

Respect the seats and the people in them. Keep group-room noise in the group rooms. No cheating, and no gear that isn't yours leaving the building. Food and drink stay clear of the keyboards. Anyone being abusive, harassing other players, or wrecking the room for the rest of the floor will be asked to leave. We can refuse or end a session for conduct that breaks these rules, and repeat offenders can be barred.

Age and conduct

Bookings are made by adults; younger players are welcome but a parent or guardian should arrange the visit and remain responsible for them. You're responsible for anyone who plays on a station you booked. The club is a shared space for everyone — keep it that way.

Cancellations and no-shows

If your plans change, let us know as early as you can so we can free the seat for someone else. Held seats and team rooms that go unclaimed may be released to walk-ins after a reasonable wait. How refunds work for time you paid for and couldn't use is covered on the Refund Policy page.

Your gear and your data

You're welcome to bring your own peripherals — you use them at your own risk, and you're responsible for taking them home. CLUTCHROOM isn't responsible for personal items left behind; check the desk for lost property. Any game accounts, ranks, or in-game purchases you make on our machines are between you and the game publisher, not us.

Liability

We run the club with reasonable care, but nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply to our services and can't be excluded. Beyond those non-excludable guarantees, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss — a missed match, a dropped rank, or a result you didn't get. We don't guarantee uninterrupted play; power, network, or hardware issues happen, and where they're on us we'll sort out fair make-good time.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version on this page is the current one. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Questions about any of it go to [email protected].
